Winter Farm Tours for kids of all ages! Only $10 per family!

Hello kids and their parents! Are you looking for something unique during the winter time? Do you like farm animals? Do you want to feed and pet chickens and ducks , feed, pet and walk goats & sheep , learn about the beehives and play with our dog Ava ? Then this activity is for you!

 
January schedule
Tours for Toddlers, @10AM

  • Saturdays: January 4, 11 and 25
  • Sundays: January 5, 12 and 26
  • Wednesdays: January 8, 15, 22 and 29
  • Thursdays: January 2

Tours for kids 5 & up, @3PM

  • Sundays: January 5, 12 and 26
  • Fridays: January 3

 

Tour Description

  • feeding ducks and bunnies
  • feeding, holding and naming chickens
  • feeding, petting and walking goats & sheep (~10-15 mins walk)
  • learning about the beehives
  • playing with the farm dog

 
Details
➡️ “Kids 5 & up” tour is suitable for kids 5 and older! “Toddlers” tour is suitable for kids 2 to 5 years old.
➡️ Families with kids of different ages can join any of the tours.
➡️ All children must be accompanied by an adult. ‍‍‍
➡️ “Toddlers” tour starts at 10AM . “Kids 5 & up” tour starts at 3PM . Each tour lasts about 1 hour. Please arrive on time.
➡️ Registration is mandatory for each family. Please register by getting your tickets using our secure online store. One ticket per family is required.

❗️ Please note that we limit the number of visitors per tour. When you reserve your tickets, but don’t come you make it impossible for other people interested in this event to join it. Please inform us as soon as possible in case you cannot come. ❗️
If you’d like to come to the farm on a specific date, but all tickets are sold out, please contact us and we will see what can be done.
➡️ These tours are offered in English.
➡️ There might be some fresh farm eggs and natural honey for sale at the end of the tour.

 
What to Wear and Bring With You

  • This is an outdoor activity, please wear outdoor winter clothes and boots.
  • Note: your clothes might become dirty. Please dress accordingly.
  • Please bring with you some raw veggies & fruits for feeding goats & sheep: celery, carrots , cabbage, lettuce , any greenery or apples.
  • Strollers are useless on the farm, but you can bring your sleds.
  • Water and a snack for your child.
  • A good mood and a positive energy!

 
Payment & Refund policy

  • The cost of the farm tour per family of up to 5 people is $10 including tax. Each additional person should pay extra $5.
  • Cancellations are permitted 48 hours prior to tour date by e-mailing info@projectpace.ca. Project PACE reserves the right to cancel tours and refund payments due to bad weather or other emergency reasons.

Address and Directions

  • 1450 Montee Wilson, Ile-Bizard or you can search for Project PACE on google maps.
  • If you’re coming from Cherrier, then when on Montee-Wilson, continue ~ 100m after intersection with Chemin Monk. The entrance to the farm will be on your right. There will be a sign! Please park by the road.

    Additional Notes

    • We are an off-grid farm with free-range animals, a deep pond, and a forest, with all its inherent risks involved.
    • Please note that we don’t have access to running water, electricity or bathrooms at this time. Please try to use the bathrooms (and have your kids use the bathroom) before you arrive. Otherwise, we have acres of forest for you to use!
